In the 7th minute the ball was on its way in behind Hisingen IK's goalkeeper Einar Jernberg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Elliot Högman in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Stefan Eklund prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 15th minute of the match Björnlunda IF got a corner. Hisingen IK's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Edvard Hellqvist ran over to the corner to take the kick. Thanks to some nice moves Simon Wennersten could shoot a difficult shot in the 16th minute, which Einar Jernberg however easily saved by the left post. 18 minutes into the match, Björnlunda IF's Calle Helberg sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Einar Jernberg narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 21 minutes into the match, Björnlunda IF's goal looked a bit too open when Elliot Högman came free, but Stefan Eklund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Viktor Nyman in the 24th minute of play forced Björnlunda IF's goalkeeper Stefan Eklund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Einar Jernberg made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Simon Wennersten sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in Hisingen IK's zone, Simon Wennersten stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Einar Jernberg came out of the goal and Simon Wennersten tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Björnlunda IF's Stefan Eklund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Viktor Nyman in the 39th minute of play. In the 41st minute Mattias Gabrielsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stefan Eklund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Daniel Ekström hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Simon Wennersten to make the kick off. Einar Jernberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Simon Wennersten in the 58th minute of the match. Stefan Eklund made an important save on a dangerous shot by Viktor Nyman in the 62nd minute. Hisingen IK's Einar Jernberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Simon Wennersten in the 69th minute of play. Viktor Nyman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Stefan Eklund made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Elliot Högman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hisingen IK's supporters rose to their feet, but Elliot Högman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Stefan Eklund breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 79th minute, Elliot Högman ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Stefan Eklund was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Simon Wennersten kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Daniel Ekström hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. The Hisingen IK players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
