Hisingen IK's Einar Jernberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baran Uğuş in the 9th minute of play. Bernt Vennerkvist had several of the Doğanyurt FK's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 11 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-1 score and a disappointed Kıvanç Tamerk as he didn't even see the shot coming. 16 minutes into the game, Hisingen IK's Bernt Vennerkvist nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kıvanç Tamerk made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Einar Jernberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Timur Sarphan, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. After 28 played minutes Hisingen IK got a freekick which was hit by William Gunnarsson. 32 minutes into the match, Hisingen IK's goal looked a bit too open when Baran Uğuş came free, but Einar Jernberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Doğanyurt FK booed when Hisingen IK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. William Gunnarsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 35 played minutes, Doğanyurt FK's Baran Uğuş shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Einar Jernberg came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Doğanyurt FK reached it. After a rather tough play, Hisingen IK's Jens-Erik Blomberg got a free kick in the 36th minute. After 37 played minutes Hisingen IK got a freekick which was hit by Mattias Gabrielsson. After 38 minutes of play, Doğanyurt FK's Baran Uğuş made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Einar Jernberg was left in no man's land by his defense there! 42 minutes into the match, Hisingen IK's goal looked a bit too open when Mehmet Osman Kutlar came free, but Einar Jernberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Hisingen IK fans' excitement grew in the 45th match minute when Hisingen IK's Viktor Nyman looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. A collision led to Doğanyurt FK getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Mehmet Osman Kutlar hit a great ball. If Viktor Nyman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-2 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Viktor Nyman to make the kick off. Doğanyurt FK's Kıvanç Tamerk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Viktor Nyman in the 53rd minute of play. Sören Malmgren kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. When Timur Sarphan came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Doğanyurt FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Timur Sarphan couldn't finish the play. In the 70th match minute, Hisingen IK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jens-Erik Blomberg to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Hisingen IK's zone, Timur Sarphan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Einar Jernberg came out of the goal and Timur Sarphan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Timur Sarphan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 74th minute Timur Sarphan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Einar Jernberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With his leg Einar Jernberg managed to avoid a goal in the 77thth minute, when Doğanyurt FK's Mehmet Osman Kutlar fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 81st minute, Doğanyurt FK's Timur Sarphan dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-3. 86 minutes into the match, Hisingen IK's goal looked a bit too open when Timur Sarphan came free, but Einar Jernberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 89 minutes into the match, Timur Sarphan dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Einar Jernberg, 4-4. Doğanyurt FK's Kıvanç Tamerk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Viktor Nyman in the 94th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Hisingen IK's Bengt-Arne Wester got a free kick in the 95th minute. When Baran Uğuş came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Doğanyurt FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Baran Uğuş couldn't finish the play. The Doğanyurt FK players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Hisingen IK from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
