Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Arvid Åberg in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Codrin Beraru prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Stefan Eklund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcu Cozmâncă in the 24th minute of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Panait Marghescu made the kick off in the second half. Simon Wennersten recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Marcu Cozmâncă fell near the penalty area in the 88th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Paralia Athens's protests and gave Marcu Cozmâncă a yellow card for diving instead.
