Anders Pettersson hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. 10 minutes into the match, Josef Hellbom had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Elliot Wallengren. Team North Invest's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Josef Hellbom was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. After having played for 16 minutes, Hugo Söderkvist managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Al-Slottshöjden's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hugo Söderkvist was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Al-Slottshöjden booed when Team North Invest was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kjell Wennerquist didn't get a good kick on the ball. 21 minutes into the match, Team North Invest's goal looked a bit too open when Josef Hellbom came free, but Elliot Wallengren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Åke Ahlbeck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Team North Invest's Elliot Wallengren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonas Hultin in the 28th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Team North Invest's zone, Reggie Clement stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Elliot Wallengren came out of the goal and Reggie Clement tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Adilson do Vale made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Jens Lindmark sent off a good shot on target. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Team North Invest's goalkeeper Elliot Wallengren, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After having played for 34 minutes, Josef Hellbom managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Elliot Wallengren was left in no man's land by his defense there! Team North Invest's Elliot Wallengren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reggie Clement in the 45th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Al-Slottshöjden's Dennis Påk got a free kick in the 47th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Birger Forssberg kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. In the 53rd minute Reggie Clement shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elliot Wallengren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Reggie Clement hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. After 56 played minutes Team North Invest got a freekick which was hit by Alf Brander. Elliot Wallengren was a little too slow when Josef Hellbom got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 57th minute. The score was now 0-4. 63 minutes into the match, Team North Invest's goal looked a bit too open when Reggie Clement came free, but Elliot Wallengren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Elliot Wallengren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Åke Ahlbeck in the 66th minute of play. Al-Slottshöjden were awarded a corner in the 67th minute after Team North Invest's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Josef Hellbom took the corner. After some careless play in the Team North Invest defense, Åke Ahlbeck kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Elliot Wallengren. The Team North Invest fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Elliot Wallengren should have stopped the shot. After 79 played minutes Al-Slottshöjden got a freekick which was hit by Jörgen Lindqvist. Elliot Wallengren made an important save on a dangerous shot by Reggie Clement in the 81st minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Åke Ahlbeck got free with Elliot Wallengren in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 83 minutes into the match, Reggie Clement had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Elliot Wallengren. When the match had gone on for 87 minutes, Reggie Clement put it in 0-7 from a short distance just to the right of Elliot Wallengren. Josef Hellbom sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Al-Slottshöjden played a much better game than Team North Invest and deserved their victory. The Team North Invest players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
