Willian Pay ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Willian Pay in the 13th minute of play forced Clube Atlético Impávido's goalkeeper João Adolfo Rosa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After taking down the ball on Habsburgo's corner Fabian Hansson fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and João Adolfo Rosa quite easily take care of the ball. Habsburgo's Honorato Aznaro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Habsburgo from getting a goal against them. After 35 played minutes Clube Atlético Impávido got a freekick which was hit by Bai Lin Ting. When Edward Kisielka came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Clube Atlético Impávido fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edward Kisielka couldn't finish the play. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 39th minute, but Honorato Aznaro got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving Habsburgo hanging dry this time. The supporters of Clube Atlético Impávido booed when Habsburgo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sixto Milio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Stig-Arne Ekström could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Honorato Aznaro made a huge save. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Willian Pay to make the kick off. Edward Kisielka got a throw-in 51 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Antônio Carlos Veloso. Stig-Arne Ekström's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Honorato Aznaro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. In the 80th match minute, Habsburgo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Justo Leobardo to maneuver through the defense. The throw-in from Emanuel Katia in the 83rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Clube Atlético Impávido's Fellipe Lira. In the 84th minute, Clube Atlético Impávido's Antônio Carlos Veloso seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Antônio Carlos Veloso the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Clube Atlético Impávido protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Antônio Carlos Veloso had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. A collision led to Clube Atlético Impávido getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Zé Pedro de Godoi hit a great ball. Faustão Fantini kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match.
