With an extended leg and a bit of luck João Adolfo Rosa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Stig-Arne Ekström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 11th minute, Richard Boschker got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. João Adolfo Rosa made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Luizão Castro sent off a good shot on target. Bai Lin Ting made in the 18th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Stig-Arne Ekström however managed to control. Edward Kisielka blasted a shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Guilherme Zanette having to make a save. After a rather tough play, Clube Atlético Impávido's Bai Lin Ting got a free kick in the 23rd minute. In the 35th match minute, Clube Atlético Impávido was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bai Lin Ting to maneuver through the defense. In the 36th minute, Luizão Castro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. João Adolfo Rosa was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. 47 minutes into the match, Clube Atlético Impávido's goalkeeper João Adolfo Rosa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luizão Castro. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Stig-Arne Ekström to make the kick off. ☆ PERÓXIDOS ☆'s Guilherme Zanette proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to save ☆ PERÓXIDOS ☆ from getting a goal against them. ☆ PERÓXIDOS ☆ made a substitution. Wambasther Sneijder replaced Cláudio Caniggia. 61 minutes into the game, André Luís Zanette cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. João Adolfo Rosa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. André Luís Zanette's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but João Adolfo Rosa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. The throw-in from Fellipe Lira in the 69th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by ☆ PERÓXIDOS ☆'s Cláudio Marangoni. Clube Atlético Impávido's João Adolfo Rosa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by André Luís Zanette in the 71st minute of play. After 74 played minutes Clube Atlético Impávido got a freekick which was hit by Fellipe Lira. André Luís Zanette blasted a shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without João Adolfo Rosa having to make a save. 77 minutes into the game, ☆ PERÓXIDOS ☆'s André Luís Zanette nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. João Adolfo Rosa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. ☆ PERÓXIDOS ☆'s André Luís Zanette got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Zé Pedro de Godoi was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 86 minutes into the match. João Adolfo Rosa had in the 87thth minute some difficulties stopping Robert Serwacki's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Clube Atlético Impávido's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because ☆ PERÓXIDOS ☆ had won, even though Clube Atlético Impávido had held more of the ball.
