Dido Gorolomov started the match with the kick off. Nicolas Roland's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Koit Vaikma read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 2nd minute of play. Olari Kabral kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. In the 6th minute, Cristian Naike got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Guido Luzaide fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Koit Vaikma having to interfere. Yin Nan Feng sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Koit Vaikma made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicolas Roland in the 18th minute of play. Elpidio Vitin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dido Gorolomov, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Elpidio Vitin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dido Gorolomov in the 20th minute of the match. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Vila's goalkeeper Koit Vaikma, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 24th minute Vélez Juniors were awarded a corner. Guido Luzaide went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Vélez Juniors's Severo Maule to fire away a dangerous shot which Koit Vaikma despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind Vila's goalkeeper Koit Vaikma, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Guido Luzaide sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nicolas Roland received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Koit Vaikma tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 33rdth minute of the game Dido Gorolomov who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vélez Juniors's Elpidio Vitin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Cristian Naike took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Koit Vaikma. Koit Vaikma dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 41 minutes into the match, Vila's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Naike came free, but Koit Vaikma reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 43rd minute Vélez Juniors were awarded a corner. Guido Luzaide went to the cornerflag to take it. At last the ball reached Celedonio Eriz at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of Vila. 0-2. When Vélez Juniors's Cristian Naike in the 47th minute got a chance for a shot 47th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Vila's goalie prevented a goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 52nd minute, Vélez Juniors's Santos Fonda dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-3. 54 minutes into the game, Severo Maule threw the ball into play from the sideline. Vila's Olari Kabral quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Vila's Georg Oher was substituted for Dido Gorolomov. After 62 minutes Vélez Juniors's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Kris Erapart who took care of the corner kick. When the match clock showed 63 minutes, the score became 1-3 when Rauno Koba sped through Vélez Juniors's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Elpidio Vitin. 71 minutes into the match, Vila's goal looked a bit too open when Nicolas Roland came free, but Koit Vaikma reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Elpidio Vitin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Georg Oher, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. If Nicolas Roland had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Nicolas Roland's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Koit Vaikma read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. Vélez Juniors's Nicolas Roland got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Vila's Lin Jun Xuan got a free kick in the 90th minute. Koit Vaikma made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicolas Roland in the 91st minute of play. The supporters of Vila booed when Vélez Juniors was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicolas Roland didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Vila fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Vélez Juniors were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
