Spectators: 169 (Terracing: 127, Seating: 39, VIP seats: 3) In the 10th minute, Vinicio Carballeira made a precise shot to the right of Elpidio Vitin. Vélez Juniors's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Elpidio Vitin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vinicio Carballeira in the 12th minute of play. With an all-out effort, Vélez Juniors's Mattias Sawyer threw himself towards the right post 15 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Nicolas Roland, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Vélez Juniors's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Guido Luzaide in the 17th minute. It was a well-played corner which Severo Maule managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Elpidio Vitin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ty Hislop, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vinicio Carballeira in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Elpidio Vitin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mattias Sawyer came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Vélez Juniors's Nicolas Roland. But to his dismay, Nicolas Roland quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Memphis Grizzlies's Mattias Sawyer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicolas Roland in the 38th minute of play. In the 42nd minute Ty Hislop shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elpidio Vitin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Elpidio Vitin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ty Hislop, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Memphis Grizzlies's Mattias Sawyer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicolas Roland in the 47th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

In the 52nd minute Guido Luzaide shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mattias Sawyer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mattias Sawyer came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by Vélez Juniors's Nicolas Roland. But to his dismay, Nicolas Roland quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. 64 minutes into the match, Nicolas Roland had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mattias Sawyer. Memphis Grizzlies's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nicolas Roland was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. Vélez Juniors made a substitution. Cristian Naike replaced Bernardo Sayvion. Memphis Grizzlies made a substitution. Stuart Banks replaced Vinicio Carballeira. In the 69th minute Nicolas Roland shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mattias Sawyer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Santos Fonda took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mattias Sawyer. Mattias Sawyer dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-1. After 74 played minutes Vélez Juniors got a freekick which was hit by Cristian Naike. 76 minutes into the game, one of Vélez Juniors:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. 86 minutes had been played when some careless play by Memphis Grizzlies's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Guido Luzaide was slow to take the kick. During this time Vélez Juniors's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Guido Luzaide got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Mattias Sawyer quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 90th minute of the match, Stuart Banks tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Elpidio Vitin saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Mattias Sawyer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Naike, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. A collision led to Memphis Grizzlies getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Jack Greenfield hit a great ball. After 96 minutes of play Memphis Grizzlies's Jack Greenfield was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground.
