After 5 minutes, Casimiro Ricart mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sacando del Medio and the Futebol Espinhel players grew even worse after the yellow card. When the match had gone on for 7 minutes, David Rocha took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Bernardo Loren to make any attempt to save it. Germano Borba's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bernardo Loren read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Radoslaw Zukowski in the 15th minute of play forced Sacando del Medio's goalkeeper Bernardo Loren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 18th minute Futebol Espinhel were awarded a corner. Radoslaw Zukowski went to the cornerflag to take it. With a little luck, Sacando del Medio's Bernardo Loren got control of the ball when Germano Borba tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind Futebol Espinhel's goalkeeper Celso Vasconcelos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 27 minutes into the match, Sacando del Medio's goal looked a bit too open when Germano Borba came free, but Bernardo Loren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A throw-in in the 31st minute of the game was made by Eliseu Tavares with Caleb Bayne as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. In the 32nd minute, Futebol Espinhel's Radoslaw Zukowski ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Bernardo Loren. Bernardo Loren yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. 35 minutes into the game, Humberto Velasques cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Bernardo Loren was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Bernardo Loren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David Rocha in the 38th minute of play. Santo James hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Bernardo Loren acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 42nd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Radoslaw Zukowski. 44 minutes into the match, Sacando del Medio's goalkeeper Bernardo Loren had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Radoslaw Zukowski. In the 46th minute David Rocha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernardo Loren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sacando del Medio's Bernardo Loren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Rocha in the 48th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Humberto Velasques in the 57th minute of play forced Sacando del Medio's goalkeeper Bernardo Loren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Humberto Velasques in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bernardo Loren prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Bernardo Loren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Germano Borba, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. In the 67th match minute, Sacando del Medio was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xacintu Stam to maneuver through the defense. In the 70th minute Artemio Odol shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Celso Vasconcelos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Futebol Espinhel fans' excitement grew in the 73rd match minute when Futebol Espinhel's Radoslaw Zukowski looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Bernardo Loren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Humberto Velasques, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 81 minutes, Humberto Velasques put it in 6-0 from a short distance just to the right of Bernardo Loren. Bernardo Loren came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by Futebol Espinhel's Germano Borba. But to his dismay, Germano Borba quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. 88 minutes into the game, Futebol Espinhel's Humberto Velasques nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bernardo Loren made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-0. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Futebol Espinhel had played much better football throughout.
