Koit Vaikma made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Murat Şenalp in the 21st minute of play. H E P T A N's Orhan Seyfi Üstün proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save H E P T A N from getting a goal against them. Rauno Koba's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Orhan Seyfi Üstün firmly grabbed it by the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rauno Koba got free with Orhan Seyfi Üstün in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 30 minutes H E P T A N's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Olari Kabral who took care of the corner kick. Rauno Koba kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marek Strandberg got free with Orhan Seyfi Üstün in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Georg Oher in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Orhan Seyfi Üstün prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Koit Vaikma took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from İlhami Akkurt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 45th minute, Ali Orhan Yalvaç made a precise shot to the right of Koit Vaikma. Vila's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.
