In the 5th minute the ball was on its way in behind Vélez Juniors's goalkeeper Elpidio Vitin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Vélez Juniors's Cristian Naike got a free kick in the 16th minute. The Sacando del Medio fans' excitement grew in the 19th match minute when Sacando del Medio's Artemio Odol looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 23rd minute Cristian Naike shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernardo Loren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bernardo Loren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Naike, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sacando del Medio's goalkeeper Bernardo Loren, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Benigno Gurutz made in the 31st minute of the game a quick throw-in and Nicolas Roland immediately put the ball in play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Guido Luzaide got free with Bernardo Loren in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 37th minute Cristian Naike shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernardo Loren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 40 minutes into the match, Cristian Naike dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Bernardo Loren, 1-1. Elpidio Vitin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Artemio Odol went, in the 43rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cristian Naike to strike the kick off in the second half. Bernardo Loren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guido Luzaide in the 57th minute of the match. Sacando del Medio's Bernardo Loren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Naike in the 65th minute of play. Bernardo Loren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicolas Roland in the 70th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Artemio Odol got free with Elpidio Vitin in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 81 played minutes Sacando del Medio got a freekick which was hit by Eulalio Omero. In the 82nd match minute, Sacando del Medio was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eulalio Omero to maneuver through the defense. 83 minutes into the game, Nicolas Roland cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Bernardo Loren was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a defensive mix-up in Vélez Juniors's zone, Artemio Odol stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Elpidio Vitin came out of the goal and Artemio Odol tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Despite being the better team, Vélez Juniors failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
