Niek Molhoek was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Alfredo Secco. Benedict Peeters struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Noel Braga didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Avelgem ad. Schelde. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Isaltino Pirani in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Niek Molhoek prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Irreal Madrid booed when Avelgem ad. Schelde was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mattias De Groot didn't get a good kick on the ball. 17 minutes had been played when some careless play by Avelgem ad. Schelde's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ricardinho Netto was slow to take the kick. During this time Irreal Madrid's players had a chance to rest. In the 81st minute, Tim-Jan Rosbach got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 85th minute, Isaltino Pirani hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 87th minute, Benedict Peeters reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Noel Braga. The goal made the score 1-4. Irreal Madrid's Noel Braga proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Irreal Madrid from getting a goal against them. Ferdinand Fabry fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Noel Braga having to interfere.
