Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC's Batıkan Muhsin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC from getting a goal against them. 23 minutes into the match, Diogo Bittencourt had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Batıkan Muhsin. Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Diogo Bittencourt was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. In the 27th minute of the match, Diogo Bittencourt tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Batıkan Muhsin saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Atilla Açıkalın to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. In the 75th minute FC La Masia were awarded a corner. Murillo Galvão went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led FC La Masia's Murillo Galvão to fire away a dangerous shot which Batıkan Muhsin despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC's Ali Erdem Özsungur was substituted for Napoleon Podolski. In the 77th minute, Alexsandro Correia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cesinha do Vale made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kasper Häll in the 80th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kasper Häll in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cesinha do Vale saved FC La Masia from getting behind. When Kasper Häll, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 82 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Cesinha do Vale was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Kasper Häll managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Kasper Häll was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cesinha do Vale breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 93 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC La Masia's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Hasan Tahsin Polatalp was slow to take the kick. During this time Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC's players had a chance to rest. Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC's Hasan Tahsin Polatalp was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Cesinha do Vale in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
