Stipe Pletikosa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 13th minute Roberto Nirvana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlitos Parodi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Stipe Pletikosa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Enrique Theobald in the 15th minute of the match. The long shot by Gustaw Niewiadomski in the 17th minute really tested Carlitos Parodi's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. When the match clock showed 20 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Roberto Nirvana sped through Acratas Unidos's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Carlitos Parodi. The audience was convinced that Roberto Nirvana's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Carlitos Parodi was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. Fortuna 86 Szczecin's Stipe Pletikosa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Margus Paukson in the 24th minute of play. If Roberto Nirvana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Carlitos Parodi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Roberto Nirvana in the 40th minute. Stipe Pletikosa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matthias Vall in the 41st minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Roberto Nirvana to make the kick off. 50 minutes into the match, Acratas Unidos's goal looked a bit too open when Stasio Lichniak came free, but Carlitos Parodi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Harun Mengüer in the 81st minute of play forced Acratas Unidos's goalkeeper Carlitos Parodi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Stipe Pletikosa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Matthias Vall in the 83rd minute. After some careless play in the Fortuna 86 Szczecin defense, Arnaldo Quin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Stipe Pletikosa. The Fortuna 86 Szczecin fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Stipe Pletikosa should have stopped the shot. Harun Mengüer struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Carlitos Parodi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fortuna 86 Szczecin. After having played for 94 minutes, Erasmo Gregory managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Acratas Unidos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Erasmo Gregory was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Acratas Unidos's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
