The crowd rose to their feet as Aleks Vaskov kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Karsten Zielinski. That made the score 1-0 in the 5 minute of play. In the 8th minute the ball was on its way in behind Balus Treter's goalkeeper Karsten Zielinski, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A sloppy throw-in by Milenko Ermentraut in the 12th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Бенковски Тетевен's Traian Delas. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aleks Vaskov in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Karsten Zielinski saved Balus Treter from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Aleks Vaskov's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Karsten Zielinski was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. 20 minutes into the match, Бенковски Тетевен's goal looked a bit too open when Gottlieb Hammer came free, but Hristofor Borchev reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gottlieb Hammer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Hristofor Borchev tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hristofor Borchev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gottlieb Hammer in the 25th minute of play. Karsten Zielinski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aleks Vaskov, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. In the 28th minute, Gottlieb Hammer made a precise shot to the right of Hristofor Borchev. Бенковски Тетевен's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. But to his dismay, Aleks Vaskov quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Бенковски Тетевен's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ignat Mankov in the 41st minute. After taking down the ball on Бенковски Тетевен's corner Ignat Mankov fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Karsten Zielinski quite easily take care of the ball. 46 minutes into the match, Бенковски Тетевен's goal looked a bit too open when Gottlieb Hammer came free, but Hristofor Borchev reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gottlieb Hammer might have been able to make a better finish in the 47th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hristofor Borchev. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gottlieb Hammer ran back to his position shaking his head. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Aleks Vaskov stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Gottlieb Hammer came free with the goalkeeper in the 59th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Hristofor Borchev could save by the left post. In the 60th minute Balus Treter were awarded a corner. Ntinos Karsiotis went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Бенковски Тетевен's goalie and right to Gottlieb Hammer. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Бенковски Тетевен's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. 62 minutes into the match, Бенковски Тетевен's goalkeeper Hristofor Borchev had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gottlieb Hammer. In the 65th minute Aleks Vaskov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karsten Zielinski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 68th minute, Traian Delas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Бенковски Тетевен made a substitution. Ignat Nozharov replaced Lachezar Kavaldzhiev. In the 76th minute, Aleks Vaskov left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Бенковски Тетевен fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. Balus Treter's Jacob van der Werff got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 83 minutes into the match, Balus Treter's goal looked a bit too open when Aleks Vaskov came free, but Karsten Zielinski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 86 minutes into the game, Gottlieb Hammer cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Hristofor Borchev was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
