Eurico Linhares hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. Mateo Medardo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulo Paiva in the 8th minute of the match. Tama's Mateo Medardo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luiz Fernando de Toledo in the 10th minute of play. After 14 played minutes WAU team got a freekick which was hit by Fernandão Lopes. In the 15th minute Felipe Mino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benjamim Nunes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Abel Prado hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. In the 22nd match minute, Tama was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ernesto Lleir to maneuver through the defense. With an all-out effort, WAU team's Mateo Medardo threw himself towards the right post 24 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Laerte de Castro, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 29th minute Felipe Mino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benjamim Nunes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Tama's Mateo Medardo got control of the ball when Eurico Linhares tried to sneak it across the goal line. Paulo Paiva who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 36thth minute tested the skills of Mateo Medardo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Luiz Fernando de Toledo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Mateo Medardo made a huge save. If Felipe Mino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Benjamim Nunes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elivélton Porto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 45th minute Felipe Mino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benjamim Nunes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 46th minute, Eurico Linhares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Paulo Paiva stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Tama's goal looked a bit too open when Paulo Paiva came free, but Mateo Medardo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 56th minute Paulo Paiva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mateo Medardo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 57th minute WAU team were awarded a corner. Luiz Fernando de Toledo went to the cornerflag to take it. Suibhne Ghee charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Suibhne Ghee the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Tama's Suibhne Ghee got a free kick in the 58th minute. After 62 played minutes Tama got a freekick which was hit by Elivélton Porto. 66 minutes into the match, Tama's Felipe Mino sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Benjamim Nunes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulo Paiva in the 67th minute of play forced Tama's goalkeeper Mateo Medardo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 68thth minute of the game Paulo Paiva who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tama's Mateo Medardo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Tama's Mateo Medardo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulo Paiva in the 69th minute of play. Tama's Simon Ferran was substituted for Felipe Mino. Tama's Diego Bazil was substituted for Ovidio Fonda. In the 71st minute of the match WAU team got a corner. Tama's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Luiz Fernando de Toledo ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on WAU team's corner Luiz Fernando de Toledo fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Mateo Medardo quite easily take care of the ball. Mateo Medardo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eurico Linhares, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Tama's Elivélton Porto managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Durvalino Netto in the 75 minute of the game. Ernesto Lleir received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Benjamim Nunes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Paulo Paiva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Benjamim Nunes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marco Santiago, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 83 minutes, Paulo Paiva made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Tama's Mateo Medardo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Marco Santiago could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Benjamim Nunes made a huge save. In the 90th minute of the match, Simon Ferran got a very nice opportunity to score, but Benjamim Nunes was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. When Tama's Simon Ferran in the 94th minute got a chance for a shot 94th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye WAU team's goalie prevented a goal. With an all-out effort, Tama's Benjamim Nunes threw himself towards the right post 95 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ernesto Lleir, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. For all the effort they put into the match, the Tama players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for WAU team.
