The audience thought a goal was coming when Edgar Tscherner got free with Romulo Otsoa in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Spams's Reynaldo Weather quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Marcelino Arano, made in the 15th minute of the game. Romulo Otsoa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edgar Tscherner, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Faustino Jerold made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jacinto Rojas in the 19th minute of play. A sloppy throw-in by Marcelino Arano in the 21st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Spams's Reynaldo Weather. Faustino Jerold took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jairo Lizbeth, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cañani OFF's Romulo Otsoa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carolo Nardo in the 28th minute of play.
