The Cañani OFF players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Freestyle futbol club were winning 0-1.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jacinto Rojas to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Cañani OFF's Jacinto Rojas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Miguel Dalmau made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. The Cañani OFF fans' excitement grew in the 61st match minute when Cañani OFF's Jacinto Rojas looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 64 minutes of play, Cañani OFF's Ovidio Claude made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Miguel Dalmau was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 67th minute, Ovidio Claude ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Miguel Dalmau was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. The supporters of Cañani OFF booed when Freestyle futbol club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Florentino Rafel didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Freestyle futbol club's zone, Ovidio Claude stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Miguel Dalmau came out of the goal and Ovidio Claude tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 82 minutes into the game, Ovidio Claude cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-1. Miguel Dalmau was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Miguel Dalmau showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ovidio Claude, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Miguel Dalmau made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jacinto Rojas in the 88th minute of play. In the 89th minute Ovidio Claude shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miguel Dalmau saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
