Spectators: 156 (Terracing: 117, Seating: 36, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Andries De Putter started the match with the kick off. In the 13th minute, Paulino Elequemedo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Şenel Volkan hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. A collision led to Mercado Paulista F.C getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Jonathan Arixo hit a great ball. When Peru Diaz came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the AFC United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Peru Diaz couldn't finish the play. After 35 minutes of play, AFC United's Andries De Putter made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fernando Arquett was left in no man's land by his defense there! Fernando Arquett showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Peru Diaz, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sebastian Jayvier to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the game, Ramiro Funes Mori threw the ball into play from the sideline. AFC United's Şenel Volkan quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 56th minute, Andries De Putter left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AFC United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Andries De Putter in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fernando Arquett saved Mercado Paulista F.C from getting behind. 69 minutes into the match, Sebastian Jayvier notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of AFC United's Lei Bin. Lei Bin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. AFC United's Bilintx Trilla was substituted for Şenel Volkan. After 75 played minutes AFC United got a freekick which was hit by Uxio Sobrado. In the 76th minute of the match Jonathan Arixo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lei Bin skillfully saved the ball. Antonio De Schutter received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Fernando Arquett tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mercado Paulista F.C's Jonathan Arixo quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Vintilă Arnăutu, made in the 83rd minute of the game. 90 minutes into the game, Antonio De Schutter recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Fernando Arquett. Antonio De Schutter showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3. Lei Bin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastian Jayvier in the 94th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ramiro Funes Mori during the 95th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Mercado Paulista F.C's Ramiro Funes Mori got a free kick in the 95th minute. Mercado Paulista F.C's Fernando Arquett played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antonio De Schutter in the 96th minute of play. AFC United played a much better game than Mercado Paulista F.C and deserved their victory. The Mercado Paulista F.C players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
