In the 5thth minute of the game Hauk Hareide who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Pegasas Siauliai's Pavel Romanescu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Carabata Groove's Hauk Hareide in the 5th minute got a chance for a shot 5th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Pegasas Siauliai's goalie prevented a goal. The Carabata Groove fans' excitement grew in the 5th match minute when Carabata Groove's Hauk Hareide looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After some careless play in the FC Pegasas Siauliai defense, Hauk Hareide kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pavel Romanescu. The FC Pegasas Siauliai fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pavel Romanescu should have stopped the shot. Miltos Kotsovoloss short, quick shot in the 17thth minute got Cristobal Goito to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. With his leg Cristobal Goito managed to avoid a goal in the 20thth minute, when FC Pegasas Siauliai's Miromir Bilicki fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Hauk Hareide blasted a shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pavel Romanescu having to make a save. 22 minutes into the match, FC Pegasas Siauliai's goal looked a bit too open when Hauk Hareide came free, but Pavel Romanescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Wiktor Dropinski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wiktor Dropinski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Cristobal Goito made a huge save. With his leg Cristobal Goito managed to avoid a goal in the 31stth minute, when FC Pegasas Siauliai's Wiktor Dropinski fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 33 minutes into the match, Carabata Groove's Hauk Hareide sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pavel Romanescu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 38 minutes into the match, Carabata Groove's goalkeeper Cristobal Goito had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Wiktor Dropinski. 41 minutes into the match, FC Pegasas Siauliai's goal looked a bit too open when Hauk Hareide came free, but Pavel Romanescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 43 minutes into the match, Carabata Groove's Caner Bahçıvan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pavel Romanescu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Carabata Groove getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Felix Musko hit a great ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Wiktor Dropinski was the one to do the kick off. After 54 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for FC Pegasas Siauliai! In the 60th minute, Carabata Groove's Nemesio Opilano ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Pavel Romanescu. Pavel Romanescu yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-4. 63 minutes into the game, Carabata Groove's Nemesio Opilano nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pavel Romanescu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. Miltos Kotsovolos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Cristobal Goito tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pavel Romanescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nemesio Opilano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 72nd minute, Artemio Quiroga got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cristobal Goito came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Pegasas Siauliai's Wiktor Dropinski. But to his dismay, Wiktor Dropinski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-5. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nemesio Opilano in the 78th minute of play forced FC Pegasas Siauliai's goalkeeper Pavel Romanescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 80th minute, Shaun Lucas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 80th match minute Felix Musko ran free in the middle of the field and shot a long shot which scored behind a totally surprised Pavel Romanescu. 1-6. After 85 minutes Carabata Groove's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Miromir Bilicki who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Miromir Bilicki almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Carabata Groove's Cristobal Goito did a great save. In the game's 85th minute FC Pegasas Siauliai's Miromir Bilicki took a hard shot from long distance, a kick which went into the net just to the right of Cristobal Goito and thus the score was 2-6. Hermengildo Bazkoare in the 88thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Pavel Romanescu, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wiktor Dropinski in the 91st minute of play forced Carabata Groove's goalkeeper Cristobal Goito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pavel Romanescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hermengildo Bazkoare, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. 101 minutes into the game, Miromir Bilicki was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Pegasas Siauliai's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Carabata Groove the free kick. After a rather tough play, FC Pegasas Siauliai's Miromir Bilicki got a free kick in the 101st minute.
