Fredo Rösch took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sverker Biörkquist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. İlmi Akıncıbey who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 32ndth minute tested the skills of Fredo Rösch when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The Arktis BoIS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Edwin Van den Bossche made a kick off. Fredo Rösch took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from İlmi Akıncıbey, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jon Söderman helped the player get up and apologised. In the 81st minute, one of Arktis BoIS:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Arktis BoIS. Hornbosteler SV's Fredo Rösch played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sverker Biörkquist in the 87th minute of play. The supporters of Arktis BoIS booed when Hornbosteler SV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Matthias Bolenz didn't get a good kick on the ball.
