Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Edwin Van den Bossche to make the kick off. In the 54th minute of the match, Inocencio Primeiro got a very nice opportunity to score, but Sixten Tunander was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Hornbosteler SV's Fredo Rösch played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ozan Heybetli in the 63rd minute of play. The Hornbosteler SV fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fredo Rösch should have stopped the shot. Ozan Heybetli struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Fredo Rösch didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Hammarby Sjöstad. The FC Hammarby Sjöstad fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. FC Hammarby Sjöstad's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
