The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Fredo Rösch made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Froilan Reyes in the 6th minute of play. 13 minutes into the match, Hornbosteler SV's goal looked a bit too open when Froilan Reyes came free, but Fredo Rösch reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fredo Rösch showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Froilan Reyes in the 16th minute of the match. Don Sedelmayr blasted a shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Luis Täger having to make a save. Luis Täger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Don Sedelmayr, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Froilan Reyes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Froilan Reyes in the 25th minute of play forced Hornbosteler SV's goalkeeper Fredo Rösch to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fredo Rösch made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Froilan Reyes in the 27th minute of play. After having played for 35 minutes, Froilan Reyes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Parque Europa FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Froilan Reyes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Froilan Reyes in the 43rd minute of play forced Hornbosteler SV's goalkeeper Fredo Rösch to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The corner ended in Samuel Ryynänen almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Hornbosteler SV's Fredo Rösch did a great save. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Froilan Reyes was the one to do the kick off. Froilan Reyess short, quick shot in the 51stth minute got Fredo Rösch to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. A collision led to Hornbosteler SV getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Edwin Van den Bossche hit a great ball. Parque Europa FC made a substitution. Murphey Shipman replaced Rogelio Mendiola. Through an outstanding action, after 63 minutes, Fredo Rösch successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Fredo Rösch was out of position in the 65 minute of play, and Aureliano Soto capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Aureliano Soto really showed his touch with that goal: 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aureliano Soto in the 68th minute of play forced Hornbosteler SV's goalkeeper Fredo Rösch to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hornbosteler SV's Fredo Rösch proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save Hornbosteler SV from getting a goal against them. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aureliano Soto in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fredo Rösch saved Hornbosteler SV from getting behind. Hornbosteler SV's defense didn't have a chance, in the 75th minute, when Aureliano Soto scored to the left of an out of position Fredo Rösch, making the score, 0-3. After some careless play in the Hornbosteler SV defense, Coronel Castro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fredo Rösch. The Hornbosteler SV fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fredo Rösch should have stopped the shot. Hornbosteler SV's defense didn't have a chance, in the 88th minute, when Coronel Castro scored to the left of an out of position Fredo Rösch, making the score, 0-5. A hard shot 91 in the game by Coronel Castro from a close distance when the talented Fredo Rösch managed to make a qualified save. Hornbosteler SV's players were relieved. Fredo Rösch made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aureliano Soto in the 93rd minute of play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Parque Europa FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
