Spectators: 195 (Terracing: 147, Seating: 45, VIP seats: 3) Minuim SS's Mikail Yerhum started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the game, Minuim SS's Mikail Yerhum nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mats Sangolt made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Mikail Yerhum took the ball and in the 6 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mats Sangolt. Mats Sangolt dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Mats Sangolt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mikail Yerhum, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. 13 minutes into the match, Minuim SS's Mikail Yerhum sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mats Sangolt narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mikail Yerhum in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mats Sangolt prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 31st minute the ball was on its way in behind Floriana Celtics's goalkeeper Mats Sangolt, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 32nd minute, Mikail Yerhum made a precise shot to the right of Mats Sangolt. Floriana Celtics's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. In the 35th minute, Mikail Yerhum left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Minuim SS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. Mats Sangolt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mikail Yerhum in the 42nd minute of play. Luisão Corrêa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mats Sangolt read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. Luisão Corrêa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mats Sangolt having to interfere. After the first half Minuim SS were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Giorgio Caruana was the one to do the kick off. Mats Sangolt made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Mikail Yerhum sent off a good shot on target. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mikail Yerhum in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mats Sangolt saved Floriana Celtics from getting behind. Floriana Celtics made a substitution. Miguel Piscopo replaced Edward Ellis. 67 minutes into the match, Minuim SS's Mikail Yerhum sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mats Sangolt narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Mats Sangolt came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by Minuim SS's Mikail Yerhum. But to his dismay, Mikail Yerhum quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. Minuim SS's Luisinho Linhares was substituted for Carolo Cambranes. Mikail Yerhum scored 0-7 in the 75th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mats Sangolt, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Janek Kanne hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Mats Sangolt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mikail Yerhum, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mikail Yerhum blasted a shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mats Sangolt having to make a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mikail Yerhum got free with Mats Sangolt in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Minuim SS's Eduardo Martini played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Giorgio Caruana in the 82nd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Mikail Yerhum's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mats Sangolt was relentless in the 84th minute of the game. In the 86th minute of the match Minuim SS got a corner. Floriana Celtics's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Marko Krumov ran over to the corner to take the kick. Mikail Yerhum sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some careless play in the Floriana Celtics defense, Mikail Yerhum kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mats Sangolt. The Floriana Celtics fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mats Sangolt should have stopped the shot. Mats Sangolt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mikail Yerhum, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Minuim SS's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
