El Millo de Haedo's Fernando Ruisko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arturo Ranolfo in the 27th minute of play. 29 minutes into the match, Arturo Ranolfo notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of El Millo de Haedo's Fernando Ruisko. Fernando Ruisko was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arturo Ranolfo in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fernando Ruisko saved El Millo de Haedo from getting behind. 35 minutes into the match, Yaji FC's Arturo Ranolfo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fernando Ruisko narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 39thth minute of the game Arturo Ranolfo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but El Millo de Haedo's Fernando Ruisko was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hernán Crespo got free with Yao Guang Chao in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 46 minutes into the match, Yaji FC's goalkeeper Yao Guang Chao had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hernán Crespo. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Arturo Ranolfo to strike the kick off in the second half. Ladislao Tximitx received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Fernando Ruisko came out and tried to block the shot, but Ladislao Tximitx slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 53rd minute. In the 56th minute, Lázaro Oto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fernando Ruisko made an important save on a dangerous shot by Arturo Ranolfo in the 58th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Arturo Ranolfo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Fernando Ruisko. That made the score 1-3 in the 61 minute of play. The supporters of El Millo de Haedo booed when Yaji FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Claudio Suarez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Anier Christobal might have been able to make a better finish in the 71st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Yao Guang Chao. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Anier Christobal ran back to his position shaking his head. Fernando Ruisko showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kryspin Ziemba, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. 79 minutes into the game, Kryspin Ziemba cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Fernando Ruisko was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Fernando Ruisko was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Kryspin Ziemba showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-5 in the 86 minute of play. Kryspin Ziemba blasted a shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fernando Ruisko having to make a save. Fernando Ruisko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ladislao Tximitx in the 97th minute of play. Yaji FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
