The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 2nd minute, Anier Christobal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fernando Ruisko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pan Lin Zhen in the 3rd minute of play. Pan Lin Zhen took the ball and in the 10 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fernando Ruisko. Fernando Ruisko dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Fernando Ruisko didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pan Lin Zhen went, in the 13th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. In the 17th minute Pan Lin Zhen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernando Ruisko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hernán Crespo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 20thth minute tested the skills of Zachariasz Dudkowski when he managed to save the team from getting behind. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ronnie Odell in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fernando Ruisko saved El Millo de Haedo from getting behind. Fernando Ruisko showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabio Zorondo, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Fernando Ruisko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pan Lin Zhen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pan Lin Zhen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 42nd match minute, El Millo de Haedo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bayezit Akçabay to maneuver through the defense. Fernando Ruisko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pan Lin Zhen in the 43rd minute of the match. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Pan Lin Zhen made a kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Fabio Zorondo managed to get in a good position for a shot. CRUZ DEL SUR's supporters rose to their feet, but Fabio Zorondo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fernando Ruisko breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fernando Ruisko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pan Lin Zhen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 55 minutes into the match, El Millo de Haedo's goal looked a bit too open when Bautista Marcó came free, but Fernando Ruisko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fernando Ruisko made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Pan Lin Zhen sent off a good shot on target. In the 67th minute Ronnie Odell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernando Ruisko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 69 minutes, Fernando Ruisko successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. When the match had gone on for 73 minutes, Pan Lin Zhen took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Fernando Ruisko to make any attempt to save it. A collision led to El Millo de Haedo getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Bayezit Akçabay hit a great ball. 83 minutes into the game, Pan Lin Zhen lined in a short shot 0-4 behind a frustrated Fernando Ruisko. The crowd rose to their feet as CRUZ DEL SUR's Fabio Zorondo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Fernando Ruisko. That made the score 0-5 after 87 minutes of play. After a rather tough play, El Millo de Haedo's Bayezit Akçabay got a free kick in the 91st minute. Pan Lin Zhen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Fernando Ruisko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. CRUZ DEL SUR's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
