Geronimo Argi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pablo-Enrique Lopez in the 19th minute of the match. After 21 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Sperides! Hibai Olano had in the 23rdth minute some difficulties stopping Sabin Verzeanu's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 23 minutes into the match, Sabin Verzeanu notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Sperides's Hibai Olano. Hibai Olano was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 26th minute, Lucero Mezquita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Geronimo Argi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Henning Valler in the 29th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bror Nordstedt got free with Hibai Olano in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Henning Valler received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Geronimo Argi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Geronimo Argi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roberto Peto in the 45th minute of play. Sperides made a substitution. Polifemo Morales replaced Xaime Fabelo. In the 65th minute Bror Nordstedt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hibai Olano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lucero Mezquita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Geronimo Argi made a huge save. In the 72nd minute of the game, Roberto Peto landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. When Cristi Cândroveanu fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Dark Prophets's protests and gave Cristi Cândroveanu a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Dark Prophets getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Cristi Cândroveanu hit a great ball. Dark Prophets's Geronimo Argi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isaac Carballido in the 74th minute of play. Hibai Olano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eduard Trifan in the 84th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lucero Mezquita got free with Geronimo Argi in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 87th minute, Mai Ping Yi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Dark Prophets fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. After 90 played minutes Sperides got a freekick which was hit by Jakub Kiwior. After a defensive mix-up in Sperides's zone, Sabin Verzeanu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hibai Olano came out of the goal and Sabin Verzeanu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Adriano Santalla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A collision led to Sperides getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Isaac Carballido hit a great ball. Sperides's Hibai Olano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sabin Verzeanu in the 96th minute of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Sperides players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Dark Prophets.
