Eustacio Vincente breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 4th minute Niel Van de Zande shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but André Courtois saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adelino Marques kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. André Courtois came out of the goal in the 9th minute to try and stop a shot by The Proser Gures's Niel Van de Zande. But to his dismay, Niel Van de Zande quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Niel Van de Zande received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. André Courtois tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 15th minute, Jonathan Sammut left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Templars FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. The supporters of Templars FC booed when The Proser Gures was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Niel Van de Zande didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 22ndth minute of the game Jonathan Sammut who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but The Proser Gures's Eustacio Vincente was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonathan Sammut in the 25th minute of play forced The Proser Gures's goalkeeper Eustacio Vincente to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Niel Van de Zande blasted a shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without André Courtois having to make a save. Niel Van de Zande sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a little luck, Templars FC's André Courtois got control of the ball when Niel Van de Zande tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jonathan Sammut made a kick off. 51 minutes into the match, The Proser Gures's Niel Van de Zande sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that André Courtois narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Niel Van de Zande struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. André Courtois didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for The Proser Gures. Jonathan Sammut who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 58thth minute tested the skills of Eustacio Vincente when he managed to save the team from getting behind. André Courtois showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Niel Van de Zande in the 59th minute of the match. Niel Van de Zande fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without André Courtois having to interfere. The Proser Gures's Eustacio Vincente played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonathan Sammut in the 67th minute of play. With an all-out effort, Templars FC's Eustacio Vincente threw himself towards the right post 68 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Staffan Apelqvist, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When Templars FC's Jonathan Sammut in the 69th minute got a chance for a shot 69th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind The Proser Gures's goalkeeper Eustacio Vincente, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Eustacio Vincente was a little too slow when Jonathan Sammut got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 86th minute. The score was now 1-4. After having played for 89 minutes, Jonathan Sammut managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Templars FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jonathan Sammut was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 92 minutes into the match, The Proser Gures's goalkeeper Eustacio Vincente had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jonathan Sammut. Eustacio Vincente made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Staffan Apelqvist in the 95th minute of play. The The Proser Gures supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Templars FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Templars FC.
