Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Danilo Seber made a kick off. America De Cali's Aquiles Telmo was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Benjamin Malvin in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Santos de Buenos Aires FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
