Marcelo Galvão was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 6 minutes into the match, ALMA GUERREIRA's José San Martín sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marcelo Galvão narrowly saved just below the crossbar. José San Martín scored 0-2 in the 7th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marcelo Galvão, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 10th minute Rubens Abreu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cauan Carvalho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 11 minutes into the match, Itajaí Football Club's goal looked a bit too open when José San Martín came free, but Marcelo Galvão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lasse Delvig blasted a shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marcelo Galvão having to make a save. Marcelo Galvão took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lasse Delvig, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. José San Martín fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcelo Galvão having to interfere. 15 minutes into the match, Lasse Delvig notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Itajaí Football Club's Marcelo Galvão. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chiquinho Alagoano in the 18th minute of play forced Itajaí Football Club's goalkeeper Marcelo Galvão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcelo Galvão showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from José San Martín, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Itajaí Football Club's Marcelo Galvão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by José San Martín in the 20th minute of play. Marcelo Galvão came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by ALMA GUERREIRA's José San Martín. But to his dismay, José San Martín quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. After a rather tough play, Itajaí Football Club's Hélio Goiano got a free kick in the 26th minute. After 27 minutes of play, ALMA GUERREIRA's Lasse Delvig made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marcelo Galvão was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 29th minute José San Martín shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelo Galvão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lasse Delvig's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marcelo Galvão read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. Cauan Carvalho made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Rubens Abreu sent off a good shot on target. ALMA GUERREIRA's Cauan Carvalho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcelinho de Salles in the 34th minute of play. Cauan Carvalho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcelinho de Salles, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Marcelo Galvão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Delfim Araújo in the 37th minute of play. Itajaí Football Club's Marcelo Galvão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Delfim Araújo in the 37th minute of play. After some careless play in the Itajaí Football Club defense, Lasse Delvig kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcelo Galvão. The Itajaí Football Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcelo Galvão should have stopped the shot. In the 45th minute Lasse Delvig shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelo Galvão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marcelinho de Salles to make the kick off. Marcelo Galvão showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lasse Delvig, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. The supporters of ALMA GUERREIRA booed when Itajaí Football Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gilberto Arce didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as ALMA GUERREIRA's Lasse Delvig slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Marcelo Galvão. That made the score 0-7 after 57 minutes of play. Marcelo Galvão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lasse Delvig in the 63rd minute of the match. When Delfim Araújo came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the ALMA GUERREIRA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Delfim Araújo couldn't finish the play. José San Martín received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Marcelo Galvão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 75th minute the ball was on its way in behind Itajaí Football Club's goalkeeper Marcelo Galvão, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Delfim Araújo got free with Marcelo Galvão in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 79 minutes Itajaí Football Club's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Wilson da Rocha who took care of the corner kick. Lenni Prehn was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. If José San Martín had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 84 minutes into the match, Itajaí Football Club's goal looked a bit too open when Lasse Delvig came free, but Marcelo Galvão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hélio Goiano hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Delfim Araújo got free with Marcelo Galvão in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Marcelo Galvão came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by ALMA GUERREIRA's Wilson da Rocha. But to his dismay, Wilson da Rocha quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-9. In the 91st minute the ball was on its way in behind Itajaí Football Club's goalkeeper Marcelo Galvão, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 92nd minute of the match ALMA GUERREIRA got a corner. Itajaí Football Club's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Wilson da Rocha ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on ALMA GUERREIRA's corner Wilson da Rocha fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Marcelo Galvão quite easily take care of the ball. Lasse Delvig sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. ALMA GUERREIRA's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
