The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yetkin Emek in the 19th minute of play forced Carnot's goalkeeper Cotera Meca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cevallos Trevino hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. 23 minutes into the match, Cosme Fulanito notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Carnot's Cotera Meca. Cotera Meca was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. AREN SPOR were awarded a corner in the 27th minute after Carnot's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Vavá Håland took the corner. The corner led AREN SPOR's Cosme Fulanito to fire away a dangerous shot which Cotera Meca despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 28 minutes into the match, AREN SPOR's Yetkin Emek sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cotera Meca narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Cornelio Alvaro hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Cotera Meca made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Yetkin Emek sent off a good shot on target. In the 36th minute of the match Carnot got a corner. AREN SPOR's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Wilfredo Candina ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Wilfredo Candina got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Necmettin İşcan quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After a rather tough play, AREN SPOR's Vavá Håland got a free kick in the 41st minute. Necmettin İşcan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Verner Sundström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Verner Sundström to strike the kick off in the second half. If Mustafa Haydar Nursal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 91 played minutes Carnot got a freekick which was hit by Lorenz Carabia. After 92 played minutes AREN SPOR got a freekick which was hit by Cosme Fulanito. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The AREN SPOR fans cheered their team off the field, for while Carnot had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
