Fluminense DF's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Osvaldo Furlan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fang Bing Lei read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. Osvaldo Furlan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fang Bing Lei having to make a save. Fang Bing Lei made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Osvaldo Furlan in the 13th minute of play. Fang Bing Lei came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by Fluminense DF's Alfredo de Alcântara. But to his dismay, Alfredo de Alcântara quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. If Jairo Domingues had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Osvaldo Furlan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fang Bing Lei read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. Edmílson Simão took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fernandão Trigo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edmílson Simão didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fernandão Trigo went, in the 44th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. The supporters of Fluminense DF booed when Pistolero Tricolor FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Codrin Daimacă didn't get a good kick on the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Osvaldo Furlan to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Rei Pelé hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alfredo de Alcântara made a great header on Fluminense DF's corner, it was just that Pistolero Tricolor FC's Fang Bing Lei managed to reach the ball for a save. Edmílson Simão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Armando Bela in the 66th minute of play. After 67 played minutes Pistolero Tricolor FC got a freekick which was hit by Cláudio Trigo. After 68 minutes, Décio Cunha mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fluminense DF and the Pistolero Tricolor FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Fluminense DF's Décio Cunha got a free kick in the 68th minute. In the 72nd minute, Alfredo de Alcântara hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Edmílson Simão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Armando Bela in the 75th minute of the match. Edmílson Simão stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Armando Bela's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jairo Domingues in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Edmílson Simão prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Pistolero Tricolor FC's Codrin Daimacă got a free kick in the 92nd minute. In the 93rd match minute, Fluminense DF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luiz Trigo to maneuver through the defense. In the 94th minute of the match Matthijs Light shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Edmílson Simão showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Pistolero Tricolor FC fully deserved thier win.
