A collision led to Alejandra getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Gilberto Goizeder hit a great ball. In the 78th minute Chicão Cerezo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maurinho Terra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 80 minutes had been played when some careless play by Alejandra's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Mauro Paulista was slow to take the kick. During this time Compostela FSCMZ's players had a chance to rest. Chicão Cerezo was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. With a little luck, Compostela FSCMZ's Tobias Pepillo got control of the ball when Federico Girotti tried to sneak it across the goal line.
