In the 24th match minute, AC Korban was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maicon Marinho to maneuver through the defense. In the 25th minute, Gilberto Izel left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The La Scaloneta fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Enrique Rozarius managed to get in a good position for a shot. La Scaloneta's supporters rose to their feet, but Enrique Rozarius was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Teodoro Vinhas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. AC Korban's Teodoro Vinhas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gilberto Izel in the 34th minute of play. Gilberto Izel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teodoro Vinhas having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Doni Rezende made a kick off. If Gilberto Izel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Teodoro Vinhas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilberto Izel in the 57th minute of play. Teodoro Vinhas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gilberto Izel, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. 76 minutes into the match, AC Korban's goal looked a bit too open when Gilberto Izel came free, but Teodoro Vinhas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Gilberto Izel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, La Scaloneta's Enrique Rozarius got a free kick in the 81st minute. Franco Moscatelli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Igor Neto in the 82nd minute of the match. In the 84th minute, Enrique Rozarius ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Teodoro Vinhas was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Silvinho da Silveira was extremely unlucky when he, in the 87th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Teodoro Vinhas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gilberto Izel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gilberto Izel in the 93rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Teodoro Vinhas saved AC Korban from getting behind. The supporters of AC Korban booed when La Scaloneta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicolás Blandi didn't get a good kick on the ball. AC Korban's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
