Radoslaw Trojanowski ran over to the corner to take the kick. Adam Kaznocha made a great header on Pogoń Stawiszyn's corner, it was just that FC LIVERPOOL's Clive Shilton managed to reach the ball for a save. Clive Shilton took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wlodzimierz Resel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Lam Baril's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gilbert Podolski was relentless in the 41st minute of the game. After a rather tough play, FC LIVERPOOL's Eskil Stenkvist got a free kick in the 79th minute. Kazimierz Dylla could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Clive Shilton made a huge save. Clive Shilton didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Radoslaw Trojanowski went, in the 84th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. The supporters of FC LIVERPOOL booed when Pogoń Stawiszyn was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lech Gmoch didn't get a good kick on the ball. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
