In the 3rd minute, Los Hijos de Doña Beija's Indiana Jones dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Higinio Aguilera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucca Gol in the 6th minute of play. Lucca Gol scored 1-1 in the 9th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Higinio Aguilera, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Higinio Aguilera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucca Gol, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Higinio Aguilera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Davi Vianna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 22 played minutes Monumento Sports got a freekick which was hit by Mathias Camargo. In the 34th minute, Ubaldo Matildo De Bethune De Looz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Monumento Sports's Chaman Do Bonde got control of the ball when Indiana Jones tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 40 minutes Monumento Sports's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Alcides Baros who took care of the corner kick. When Jorge Breckenfeld fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Monumento Sports's protests and gave Jorge Breckenfeld a yellow card for diving instead. In the 45th minute, Jorge Breckenfeld hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 48th minute of the match Los Hijos de Doña Beija got a corner. Monumento Sports's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Alcides Baros ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Severiano Nardo got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Chaman Do Bonde quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Chaman Do Bonde showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jyrki Sillanpää, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Jyrki Sillanpää took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Chaman Do Bonde. Chaman Do Bonde dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. In the 58th minute, Indiana Jones made a precise shot to the right of Chaman Do Bonde. Monumento Sports's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. Hu Xiong Zhen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Chaman Do Bonde read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 66th minute of play. Chaman Do Bonde showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jyrki Sillanpää, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Los Hijos de Doña Beija's Higinio Aguilera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Davi Vianna in the 73rd minute of play. Higinio Aguilera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucca Gol in the 73rd minute of play. 75 minutes into the match, Los Hijos de Doña Beija's Indiana Jones sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Chaman Do Bonde narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Chaman Do Bonde took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Indiana Jones, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Feliciano Haritzeder fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chaman Do Bonde having to interfere. Monumento Sports's Pedro Luís Zonta was substituted for Luiz Fabiano Pires. Los Hijos de Doña Beija made a substitution. Albino Brion replaced Jyrki Sillanpää. Monumento Sports made a substitution. Henrique Magalhães replaced Lucca Gol. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luís Fábio Rocha in the 91st minute of play forced Monumento Sports's goalkeeper Chaman Do Bonde to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Luís Fábio Rocha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 96 minutes into the game, Albino Brion cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Chaman Do Bonde was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Los Hijos de Doña Beija fully deserved thier win.
