Deportivo Diamante U18 were awarded a corner in the 13th minute after Alvi Boton's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Leo Giro took the corner. Valentin Matei was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Pascual Petrigai during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 19 played minutes Alvi Boton got a freekick which was hit by Pascual Petrigai. Alvi Boton's Eloy Gabirel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leo Giro in the 20th minute of play. Conrado Maiorga took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eloy Gabirel. Eloy Gabirel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Eloy Gabirel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Conrado Maiorga, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Diego Milito received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Eloy Gabirel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 27 minutes into the match, Conrado Maiorga had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eloy Gabirel. Alvi Boton's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Conrado Maiorga was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. The Alvi Boton players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Deportivo Diamante U18 were winning 0-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Apolo Alvarez made a kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Conrado Maiorga got free with Eloy Gabirel in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Eloy Gabirel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Leo Giro's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. 59 minutes into the match, Alvi Boton's goalkeeper Eloy Gabirel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Valentin Matei. Laureano Mitxaut recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diego Milito in the 68th minute of play forced Alvi Boton's goalkeeper Eloy Gabirel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eloy Gabirel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Conrado Maiorga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 74 minutes, Conrado Maiorga took a quick shot and it went in 0-4 without a chance for Eloy Gabirel to make any attempt to save it. In the 77th minute, Alvi Boton's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Diego Milito fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Leo Giro had several of the Alvi Boton's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 81 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-5 score and a disappointed Eloy Gabirel as he didn't even see the shot coming. The audience thought a goal was coming when Valentin Matei got free with Eloy Gabirel in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dario Abastas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eloy Gabirel having to interfere. The Alvi Boton fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Deportivo Diamante U18 were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
