The Espen Steelers fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 10th minute of the match Williams Imholz shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Miguel Ángel Santoro showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 11 minutes into the match, Espen Steelers's goalkeeper Fabian Honauer had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alfonso Signorini. When Nino Schurter came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Espen Steelers fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nino Schurter couldn't finish the play. 0-2 became the score in the 22nd minute when Rogelio Montez elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 26 minutes into the match, Chacarita Futsal's goal looked a bit too open when Rogelio Montez came free, but Miguel Ángel Santoro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alfonso Signorini got free with Fabian Honauer in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Fabian Honauer made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alfonso Signorini in the 28th minute. Miguel Ángel Santoro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nino Schurter, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nino Schurter scored 0-3 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Miguel Ángel Santoro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 35 minutes into the match, Chacarita Futsal's goal looked a bit too open when Nino Schurter came free, but Miguel Ángel Santoro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 35 minutes into the match, Espen Steelers's Nino Schurter sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Miguel Ángel Santoro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 39th minute of the match Espen Steelers got a corner. Chacarita Futsal's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Williams Imholz ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Espen Steelers's Williams Imholz to fire away a dangerous shot which Miguel Ángel Santoro despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After a rather tough play, Espen Steelers's Ingo Minder got a free kick in the 46th minute. 47 minutes into the match, Espen Steelers's goal looked a bit too open when Arild Nodland came free, but Fabian Honauer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alfonso Signorini to strike the kick off in the second half. Miguel Ángel Santoro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nino Schurter in the 55th minute of the match. Esteve Paublo hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Rogelio Montez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Miguel Ángel Santoro made a huge save. Miguel Ángel Santoro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nino Schurter's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rogelio Montez got free with Miguel Ángel Santoro in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Calistrat Velicu fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Espen Steelers's protests and gave Calistrat Velicu a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Espen Steelers getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Calistrat Velicu hit a great ball. Espen Steelers's Patricio Clerc was substituted for Raffaelo Berger. Chacarita Futsal made a substitution. Evaristo Perez replaced Genaro Min. Espen Steelers made a substitution. Ştefan Lupea replaced Rogelio Montez. Espen Steelers's Tobie Canclini was substituted for Calistrat Velicu. A collision led to Espen Steelers getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Calistrat Velicu hit a great ball. When Chacarita Futsal's Evaristo Perez in the 76th minute got a chance for a shot 76th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Fabian Honauer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arild Nodland in the 78th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Evaristo Perez during the 80th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Chacarita Futsal's Evaristo Perez got a free kick in the 80th minute. Alfonso Signorini recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 89th minute Espen Steelers were awarded a corner. Williams Imholz went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Ştefan Lupea got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Miguel Ángel Santoro quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Espen Steelers's Fabian Honauer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Evaristo Perez in the 91st minute of play. The Espen Steelers supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Espen Steelers would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
