Benny Bur took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Barna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sebastian Zawada made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcus Allbäck in the 5th minute of play. In the 7th minute, Dawid Dembowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Doctor Sócrates managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sledgehammer KO's supporters rose to their feet, but Doctor Sócrates was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sebastian Zawada breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 10 minutes into the game, Marcus Allbäck cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Sebastian Zawada made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. 28 minutes into the match, Leonard Åhman had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sebastian Zawada. THE FAVOURITES's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Leonard Åhman was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. After 31 minutes of play, Sledgehammer KO's Marcus Allbäck made it 0-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sebastian Zawada was left in no man's land by his defense there! THE FAVOURITES's Sebastian Zawada played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonard Åhman in the 38th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-7 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Daniel Barna made a kick off. After 51st play minutes Leonard Åhman shot 0-8, a short shot which went by Sebastian Zawada and just under the crossbar into goal. Sebastian Zawada showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcus Allbäck in the 54th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Sledgehammer KO's Marcus Allbäck slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Sebastian Zawada. That made the score 0-10 after 62 minutes of play. With a little luck, THE FAVOURITES's Sebastian Zawada got control of the ball when Leonard Åhman tried to sneak it across the goal line. 69 minutes into the game, Leonard Åhman cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-11. Sebastian Zawada was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a defensive mix-up in THE FAVOURITES's zone, Leonard Åhman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sebastian Zawada came out of the goal and Leonard Åhman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Leonard Åhman took the ball and in the 74 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sebastian Zawada. Sebastian Zawada dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-12. In the 77th minute, Doctor Sócrates left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sledgehammer KO fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-13. THE FAVOURITES's Sebastian Zawada played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonard Åhman in the 87th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonard Åhman in the 89th minute of play forced THE FAVOURITES's goalkeeper Sebastian Zawada to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Sledgehammer KO booed when THE FAVOURITES was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Piotr Skonieczny didn't get a good kick on the ball. 92 minutes into the game, Sledgehammer KO's Leonard Åhman nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sebastian Zawada made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-15. When the match was over Sledgehammer KO could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than THE FAVOURITES throughout the match.
