In the 14th minute Teodosio Figueroa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastian Zawada saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Amado Gamus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lucjan Madajczyk in the 21st minute of the match. Sebastian Zawada made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Muni Forró in the 22nd minute of play. 24 minutes into the game, Tiburcio Restu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Caricancha's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave THE FAVOURITES the free kick. After 24 played minutes Caricancha got a freekick which was hit by Tiburcio Restu. Sebastian Zawada was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Teodosio Figueroa showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 33 minute of play. Sebastian Zawada showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teodosio Figueroa, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Sebastian Zawada came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by Caricancha's Muni Forró. But to his dismay, Muni Forró quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. The audience was convinced that Lucjan Madajczyk's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Amado Gamus was relentless in the 46th minute of the game. Sebastian Zawada was out of position in the 47 minute of play, and Tiburcio Restu capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Tiburcio Restu really showed his touch with that goal: 4-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Muni Forró made the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Muni Forró in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sebastian Zawada saved THE FAVOURITES from getting behind. Sebastian Zawada took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tiburcio Restu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 64 minutes into the match, Caricancha's Tiburcio Restu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sebastian Zawada narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Herbert Kolba fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored THE FAVOURITES's protests and gave Herbert Kolba a yellow card for diving instead. In the 65th match minute, THE FAVOURITES was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Herbert Kolba to maneuver through the defense. In the 66th minute Teodosio Figueroa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastian Zawada saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Caricancha's defense didn't have a chance, in the 68th minute, when Daniel Barna scored to the left of an out of position Amado Gamus, making the score, 4-1. Teodosio Figueroa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Daniel Barna's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Amado Gamus read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. Tiburcio Restu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Muni Forró sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience was convinced that Muni Forró's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sebastian Zawada was relentless in the 94th minute of the game. Muni Forró recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. There was no doubt that Caricancha were the better team. Caricancha's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
