The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Stelian Joldea to strike the kick off in the second half. Red Devils's attentive Mesut Zidane managed to snatch the ball when Hieronim Winszman made a throw-in in the 53rd minute of the game. A collision led to KS Piastów Sosnowiec getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Stelian Joldea hit a great ball. In the 75th minute, Fabien Van Daelen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 77 played minutes KS Piastów Sosnowiec got a freekick which was hit by Apolo Beltza. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Reşat Rasif in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Claude Bermudez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Fabien Van Daelen's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Tomasz Piwko firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 88th minute KS Piastów Sosnowiec were awarded a corner. Apolo Beltza went to the cornerflag to take it. A collision led to Red Devils getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Károly Baranyai hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Red Devils defense, Stelian Joldea kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Claude Bermudez. The Red Devils fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Claude Bermudez should have stopped the shot. In a very dangerous position, a player in KS Piastów Sosnowiec fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 96th minute. Penalty! When the match had been going on for 97 minutes, Red Devils's Téo Lima got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Tomasz Piwko. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Red Devils eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
