Tao Xi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Harold Rodenboog, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 13thth minute of the game Harold Rodenboog who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Flames FC's Tao Xi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Fokke Meijeringh made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alican İçten in the 14th minute of play. Tao Xi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Inácio Amaral's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. Inácio Amaral fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tao Xi having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diego Lopes in the 32nd minute of play forced De Kasteelheren's goalkeeper Fokke Meijeringh to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind De Kasteelheren's goalkeeper Fokke Meijeringh, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Alican İçten sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Fokke Meijeringh made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Alican İçten sent off a good shot on target. In the 42nd minute Flames FC were awarded a corner. David Berkowitz went to the cornerflag to take it. Alican İçten made a great header on Flames FC's corner, it was just that De Kasteelheren's Fokke Meijeringh managed to reach the ball for a save. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Diego Lopes to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Harold Rodenboog in the 52nd minute of play forced Flames FC's goalkeeper Tao Xi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tao Xi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anatoliy Gvozdevych, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. After having played for 59 minutes, Anatoliy Gvozdevych managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. De Kasteelheren's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anatoliy Gvozdevych was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Flames FC's Amat Mata was substituted for Christian Pimenta. Flames FC made a substitution. Miguel Campos replaced Arturo Di Girolamo. If Harold Rodenboog had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Miguel Campos fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Flames FC's protests and gave Miguel Campos a yellow card for diving instead. Tao Xi came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by De Kasteelheren's Harold Rodenboog. But to his dismay, Harold Rodenboog quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. The supporters of De Kasteelheren booed when Flames FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amat Mata didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 84th match minute, De Kasteelheren was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anatoliy Gvozdevych to maneuver through the defense. Diego Lopes took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fokke Meijeringh. Fokke Meijeringh dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. A collision led to De Kasteelheren getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Anthony Hillen hit a great ball. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. De Kasteelheren walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
