In the 10th minute the ball was on its way in behind Quetzal Flyers Hammers's goalkeeper Francesco Marines, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Sonny Perkins's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Angelo Boni was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. In the 16th minute, one of Farafulla FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Farafulla FC. If Behçet Alp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Angelo Boni was a little too slow when Tony Cote got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 31st minute. The score was now 2-0. Angelo Boni showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sonny Perkins in the 36th minute of the match. In the 40th minute, Sonny Perkins left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Quetzal Flyers Hammers fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Tony Cote took the ball and in the 44 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Angelo Boni. Angelo Boni dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sonny Perkins stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Adalmo Saldanha was extremely unlucky when he, in the 52nd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 56th minute, Sonny Perkins left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. Angelo Boni stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sonny Perkins's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. The Quetzal Flyers Hammers fans cheered their team off the field, for while Farafulla FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
