Independiente's Alejo Orlo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Angelo Boni narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 19 minutes Farafulla FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Vladimir Shtapov who took care of the corner kick. Lajos Vadász showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Behçet Alp in the 21st minute of the match. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Farafulla FC's goalkeeper Angelo Boni, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some careless play in the Club A. Independiente defense, Andriy Shevchenko kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lajos Vadász. The Club A. Independiente fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lajos Vadász should have stopped the shot. In the 36th minute, Hao Guo Xing hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ryan Portanares didn't quite understand what happened when in the 38 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. An unexpectedly hard shot by Behçet Alp in the 39th minute of play forced Club A. Independiente's goalkeeper Lajos Vadász to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lajos Vadász took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Behçet Alp, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Club A. Independiente getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Gaspar Rocio hit a great ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Lajos Vadász made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Behçet Alp in the 52nd minute of play. 64 minutes into the match, Farafulla FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alejo Orlo came free, but Angelo Boni reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 67 played minutes Farafulla FC got a freekick which was hit by Andriy Shevchenko. Alejo Orlo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Angelo Boni tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alejo Orlo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Angelo Boni read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. Club A. Independiente's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Vladimir Shtapov in the 74th minute. A well-hit corner resulted in Alberto Acosta heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. 78 minutes into the match, Club A. Independiente's goalkeeper Lajos Vadász had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Behçet Alp. Lajos Vadász made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Behçet Alp sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Alejo Orlo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club A. Independiente's supporters rose to their feet, but Alejo Orlo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Angelo Boni breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lajos Vadász made an important save on a dangerous shot by Andriy Shevchenko in the 89th minute. In the 91st minute Farafulla FC were awarded a corner. Ryan Portanares went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 94th minute of the match, Andriy Shevchenko got a very nice opportunity to score, but Lajos Vadász was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Farafulla FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
