An unexpectedly hard shot by Christoffer Blomqvist in the 11th minute of play forced EFSANE SİVASSPOR's goalkeeper Costică Peter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 13 minutes into the match, EFSANE SİVASSPOR's goal looked a bit too open when Christoffer Blomqvist came free, but Costică Peter reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Christoffer Blomqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 20 minutes, Jozef Kloots managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MILLONARIOS FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jozef Kloots was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 23 played minutes MILLONARIOS FC got a freekick which was hit by Heitor Leys. 27 minutes had been played when some careless play by EFSANE SİVASSPOR's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Rafael Jauregui was slow to take the kick. During this time MILLONARIOS FC's players had a chance to rest. After 40 played minutes EFSANE SİVASSPOR got a freekick which was hit by Jurand Wolniewicz. Christoffer Blomqvist's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Costică Peter read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. In the 43rd minute Aras Timur shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angelo Prior saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half MILLONARIOS FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Christoffer Blomqvist made the kick off in the second half. But to his dismay, Christoffer Blomqvist quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Christoffer Blomqvists short, quick shot in the 57thth minute got Costică Peter to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Jurand Wolniewicz struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Angelo Prior didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for EFSANE SİVASSPOR. EFSANE SİVASSPOR's Costică Peter proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save EFSANE SİVASSPOR from getting a goal against them. Costică Peter took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juan Corredor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 94 minutes into the game, Juan Corredor recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Costică Peter. Juan Corredor showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-4. The MILLONARIOS FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing MILLONARIOS FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
