Felix Enetz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fevzi Baykara in the 8th minute of play. A collision led to Argon getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Pedro Peña hit a great ball. Pedro Peña charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pedro Peña the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 14 played minutes Argon got a freekick which was hit by Pedro Peña. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christian Servando in the 19th minute of play forced Śląsk Bytom's goalkeeper Antoni Brama to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Śląsk Bytom's Antoni Brama proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Śląsk Bytom from getting a goal against them. In the 21st minute Fevzi Baykara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felix Enetz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 25th minute, Fevzi Baykara made a precise shot to the right of Felix Enetz. Argon's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. 27 minutes into the game, Śląsk Bytom's Ulryk Miazga nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Felix Enetz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Śląsk Bytom's goalkeeper Antoni Brama, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 36 minutes Argon's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Roch Zajonc who took care of the corner kick. In the 40th minute, Fevzi Baykara made a precise shot to the right of Felix Enetz. Argon's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. A collision led to Śląsk Bytom getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Ulryk Miazga hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christian Servando in the 47th minute of play forced Śląsk Bytom's goalkeeper Antoni Brama to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Fevzi Baykara made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Śląsk Bytom booed when Argon was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 50 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christian Servando didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Christian Servando had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Antoni Brama took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christian Servando, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 62ndth minute of the game Christian Servando who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Śląsk Bytom's Antoni Brama was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Fevzi Baykara received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Felix Enetz came out and tried to block the shot, but Fevzi Baykara slotted it home off the left post making it 0-5 in the 63rd minute. A collision led to Argon getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Jonatan Lopes hit a great ball. Argon's Yaya Toure was substituted for Christian Servando. Argon's Felix Enetz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlo Monni in the 73rd minute of play. 78 minutes into the match, Fevzi Baykara notched a goal, 0-7, to the right of Argon's Felix Enetz. Felix Enetz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 81st minute, Ulryk Miazga reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Felix Enetz. The goal made the score 0-8. The supporters of Śląsk Bytom booed when Argon was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pedro Peña didn't get a good kick on the ball. Antoni Brama showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yaya Toure, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. It was a well-played corner which Dan Brophy managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Śląsk Bytom played a much better game than Argon and deserved their victory. The Argon players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
