The corner led AQUILES's Edward Van Mechelen to fire away a dangerous shot which Danijel Subašić despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 27th minute Baltasar Guerrero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Frank Frankfurter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baltasar Guerrero in the 29th minute of play forced AQUILES's goalkeeper Frank Frankfurter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kay Izquierdoz in the 33rd minute of play forced Club Atletico Juanita's goalkeeper Danijel Subašić to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Natalio Guter got free with Danijel Subašić in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Natalio Guter was the one to do the kick off. Danijel Subašić showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kay Izquierdoz in the 55th minute of the match. Danijel Subašić showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Natalio Guter, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. If Bubunauri G. Hansen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The AQUILES fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Danijel Subašić was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. There was no doubt that AQUILES were the better team. AQUILES's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
