Carlos Mei could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Johnny Banks made a huge save. In the 26th minute Elvijs Presley shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lyle Coppack saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adrián-Daniel Dobre in the 51st minute of play forced Malmö White Knights's goalkeeper Johnny Banks to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 51 minutes into the game, Erdélyi SE Marosvásárhely's Adrián-Daniel Dobre nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. After a defensive mix-up in Malmö White Knights's zone, Carlos Mei stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Johnny Banks came out of the goal and Carlos Mei tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 76 played minutes Malmö White Knights got a freekick which was hit by Otto Bern. In the 78th minute, Elvijs Presley reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Lyle Coppack. The goal made the score 3-1. Carlos Mei blasted a shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Johnny Banks having to make a save. Elvijs Presley who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 89thth minute tested the skills of Lyle Coppack when he managed to save the team from getting behind. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Carlos Mei in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Johnny Banks saved Malmö White Knights from getting behind. Elvijs Presley sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 94th minute Elvijs Presley shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lyle Coppack saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Erdélyi SE Marosvásárhely fans cheered their team off the field, for while Malmö White Knights had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
