Spectators: 157 (Terracing: 118, Seating: 36, VIP seats: 3) Esmeraldas S.C.'s Aguinaga Nebot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eric Şneapotă in the 3rd minute of play. 5 minutes into the match, Navigatii Bacău's goal looked a bit too open when İbrahim Volkan came free, but Grigore Ozon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that İbrahim Volkan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Grigore Ozon was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. Grigore Ozon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martinez Cines in the 13th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 13 minutes, Martinez Cines put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Grigore Ozon. After a rather tough play, Navigatii Bacău's Corneliu Cismaș got a free kick in the 19th minute. Grigore Ozon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Damian Maftei in the 20th minute of the match. 21 minutes had been played when some careless play by Navigatii Bacău's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Niki Borda was slow to take the kick. During this time Esmeraldas S.C.'s players had a chance to rest. The corner led Esmeraldas S.C.'s Martinez Cines to fire away a dangerous shot which Grigore Ozon despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 22 minutes into the game, Esmeraldas S.C.'s İbrahim Volkan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Grigore Ozon made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Grigore Ozon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Damian Maftei in the 28th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Damian Maftei in the 29th minute of play forced Navigatii Bacău's goalkeeper Grigore Ozon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Horea Stelea hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. 33 minutes into the match, Navigatii Bacău's goal looked a bit too open when Damian Maftei came free, but Grigore Ozon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Esmeraldas S.C.'s Niki Borda was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Grigore Ozon in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 40th minute Damian Maftei shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Grigore Ozon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 43rd minute, Damian Maftei left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Esmeraldas S.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Damian Maftei in the 48th minute of play forced Navigatii Bacău's goalkeeper Grigore Ozon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

After a defensive mix-up in Navigatii Bacău's zone, Martinez Cines stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Grigore Ozon came out of the goal and Martinez Cines tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Navigatii Bacău's Grigore Ozon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damian Maftei in the 53rd minute of play. Grigore Ozon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from İbrahim Volkan in the 54th minute of play. Esmeraldas S.C.'s İbrahim Volkan managed to work through Navigatii Bacău's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. İbrahim Volkan dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Navigatii Bacău's defense didn't have a chance, in the 56th minute, when Damian Maftei scored to the left of an out of position Grigore Ozon, making the score, 0-4. In the 59th minute, Niki Borda ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Grigore Ozon was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. Grigore Ozon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Niki Borda in the 65th minute of play. In the 67th minute, Damian Maftei made a precise shot to the right of Grigore Ozon. Navigatii Bacău's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-7. Grigore Ozon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Damian Maftei, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Grigore Ozon didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Stefanos Terzopoulos went, in the 74th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-8 was the resulting score. Grigore Ozon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Damian Maftei, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Damian Maftei was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 84th minute. Esmeraldas S.C.'s manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Navigatii Bacău's Grigore Ozon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save Navigatii Bacău from getting a goal against them. An unexpected shot in the 91st minute by Martinez Cines got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 93 minutes into the game, Esmeraldas S.C.'s Damian Maftei nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Grigore Ozon made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-9. Grigore Ozon made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when İbrahim Volkan sent off a good shot on target. Esmeraldas S.C.'s fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
