Gugu de Mendonça sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Roque Dorio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gugu de Mendonça, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. Cachilo FC's Roque Dorio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rogelio Abeita in the 7th minute of play. 9 minutes into the match, Cachilo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gugu de Mendonça came free, but Roque Dorio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Roque Dorio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gugu de Mendonça went, in the 9th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 20th minute Gugu de Mendonça shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roque Dorio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 22 minutes into the match, Gugu de Mendonça notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Cachilo FC's Roque Dorio. Roque Dorio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 28 minutes into the game, Road To Glory's Gugu de Mendonça nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Roque Dorio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Gugu de Mendonça recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cachilo FC's Roque Dorio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rogelio Abeita in the 42nd minute of play. After the first half Road To Glory were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After a rather tough play, Cachilo FC's Damian Papo got a free kick in the 54th minute. In the 54th minute, Gugu de Mendonça got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bernardino Astudillo kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Roque Dorio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rogelio Abeita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gugu de Mendonça in the 64th minute of play forced Cachilo FC's goalkeeper Roque Dorio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Roque Dorio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gugu de Mendonça in the 69th minute of play. In the 70th minute, Rogelio Abeita left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Road To Glory fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. Cachilo FC's Nemesio Geleberto was substituted for Bernardino Astudillo. 74 minutes into the match, Gugu de Mendonça had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Roque Dorio. Cachilo FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gugu de Mendonça was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. Cachilo FC's Roque Dorio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Cachilo FC from getting a goal against them. In the 78th minute, Bartolo Goiz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 81 minutes into the match, Gugu de Mendonça dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Roque Dorio, 0-6. In the 93rd minute, Gugu de Mendonça made a precise shot to the right of Roque Dorio. Cachilo FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-7. Road To Glory's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
